General Public s.r.o. — the GP Development brand. 9 years of continuous development of residential projects in the Central Bohemian and Karlovy Vary regions and around Prague.
GP Development (legal name General Public s.r.o., IČO 06146121) was founded in 2017 as a family development company with an emphasis on residential construction in regions where our employees live and where we know the local conditions. We are based in Ostrov u Karlových Varů at Dolní Žďár 39 and primarily operate in the Karlovy Vary region, Central Bohemian region, and around Prague.
In 9 years of operation, we have completed 12 residential and mixed-use projects — from boutique complexes like SkyDream Hřebenky in Prague, through villa developments (Vila domy Babice u Říčan), to urban apartment buildings (BD Jáchymovská in Karlovy Vary, Rezidence Palackého in Český Brod). We are currently implementing two resorts in Karlovy Vary (Resort Květnová with completion in 2026, Resort Letná with completion in 2027) and preparing other projects with a total value exceeding 4.5 billion CZK.
Our approach is in-house management from land acquisition to final approval — we do not use external engineering, we do not build on speculation, and we manage each project as a separate product with its own budget, schedule, and quality standard. We recommend specific housing to clients based on their budget, location, and family type — not what we currently have unsold.
